Overview
QOX is a multi-service, on-demand platform: food delivery, grocery delivery, parcel delivery and ride booking in a single app.
It's really three products — a customer app, a rider app, and a web dashboard for operators to manage orders, riders and services.
My role
I was the technical product and project manager, leading a team of four across the three apps.
I owned the technical scope, architecture decisions and sprint coordination — from requirements all the way through app-store release.
Delivery
Three apps for three different users, with live tracking connecting them, meant the real challenge was keeping everything in step. I managed delivery across the design, mobile and backend work so that all three apps were in sync at launch.
What the product does
As described on the public website:
- One cart across services — food, groceries and a parcel in a single checkout
- Live map tracking from store to door
- Cash on delivery, saved addresses and one-tap reorder
- A rider app with flexible hours, zone selection and payouts
Technical approach
React Native apps on a Node.js and Express backend, with Socket.io for real-time communication, Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data and the Google Maps SDK for location — served through Nginx on a Hostinger VPS.
